Our Guiding Principles

Proclaiming the Gospel in our city and throughout the country, and supporting our members are the guiding principles that lead Home Missions. Through our resources of people, prayer, and financial support, the Lord has allowed us to play a major role in the start-up, growth, and sustaining of many of Chattanooga’s leading ministries.

Serve on the Mountain and in the City

This form will allow you to access community service opportunities which may be here on the mountain, within our church community, or in the city with one of our strategic ministry partners. Your response will allow us to contact you with future service opportunities.

At-risk children – Education
Through tutoring and after-school programs
At-risk children – Music Education
Through music-focused after-school programs
Men – Mentoring
Walk alongside men looking to make positive life changes
Women – Mentoring
Walk alongside women looking to make positive life changes
Prison Ministry and Correspondence
Work with a ministry to develop a prayerful and encouraging relationship with a prisoner through biblically-focused correspondence
Racial Reconciliation
Work alongside ministries seeking racial reconciliation in our city
Prayer
Pray regularly for our Home and World Missions ministries
Widows
Minister to widows through food pantry donations, home repairs, and prayer support
Jobs/Skills Training
Volunteer to read resumes, provide interview skills, and generally mentor employment-seekers
