Music Ministry

We are so glad you are interested in participating in the music ministry of LMPC! For more information about the worship philosophy of our church as well as information about the five different worship services held each Sunday morning, please see our general worship page.

The instrumentation in our three different service locations (chapel, sanctuary, and fellowship hall) varies. The chancel choir and other choral ensembles sing in the sanctuary services and are usually accompanied by organ or piano, sometimes with the addition of string and wind instruments. In the fellowship hall, the music ensembles almost always feature acoustic guitar, piano, strings, and vocalists, but can include wind and other instruments as well. Our children and youth choirs sing periodically during the school year in both the sanctuary and the fellowship hall.

There are numerous opportunities for musicians of all ages to serve in each location. We believe that serving in the music ministry of LMPC is one way to love our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Our prayer is that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, participating in the music ministry would help each musician become more like our Savior as they help lead the congregation in worship and become better connected to the life and work of God’s church.
