We are so excited to introduce our LMPC Summer Youth Interns! Everyone will likely see these outstanding young leaders very busy this summer helping the youth staff as they seek to love and serve our LMPC youth.
claire: high school girls
Claire is a rising senior at Auburn University. She interned last summer at LMPC and is returning this summer! Claire grew up in Chattanooga and got connected to youth group her senior year of high school at Baylor. Through friends like Annie Reynolds, Claire felt cared for and connected at LMPC and kept coming back. She enjoys pickleball, movies, baking, and games. She is so excited to start back because of the incredible experience she had last summer hanging out with high school girls and the remarkable, supportive staff.
molly: high school/middle school girls
Molly is a recent graduate from Furman University, where she majored in religion and loved studying theology and helping lead RUF and YoungLife. She grew up on Lookout and has attended LMPC her entire life. She was very invested in LMPC youth group during her middle and high school years, and was a middle school leader during her junior and senior years of high school. This is her first summer as an intern, as she’s spent the last two years working as a counselor at Camp DeSoto. She enjoys climbing, crocheting, and being outside, and she’s so excited to spend time with middle and high school girls this summer!
hannah: middle school girls
Hannah is a second-year student at Oregon State University, where she is studying Ecological Engineering with a minor in Sustainability. At OSU, she is an active member in Cru (formerly Crusaders for Christ) and is the historian for her sorority. She moved to Lookout Mountain her sophomore year of high school, and her family found a home at LMPC. She became very active in the high school youth group and was a middle school leader her junior and senior years. Hannah loves pottery, hiking, running, and anything outdoors. This is her first summer as an intern, and she is so excited to spend meaningful time with middle school girls!
rhett: middle school guys
Rhett is a rising junior at Covenant college. He grew up on the mountain and had a great experience in the LMPC youth program. He is excited to come back for his 2nd summer and hang out with middle schoolers. He enjoys soccer, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. He looks forward to continue leading and serving with the LMPC middle school this summer.
