Aaron Tolson
Pastor of Youth Ministries
Aaron came to LMPC in 2002 as the director of high school youth. He received his bachelor's degree in sociology from Covenant College in 1997 and his Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Seminary in 2002. Aaron was ordained as assistant pastor of high school youth at LMPC in 2005. Prior to coming to LMPC, Aaron served as a youth minister in Jacksonville, Florida and St. Louis, Missouri. Aaron and his wife Lisa have four children.
Formative experiences have included marrying his lovely and godly wife, the gift of four incredible children, living in Uganda for a summer during high school, and working alongside Widows Harvest Ministries and the Church of the First Born in Chattanooga. Influential voices in Aaron's life are Len, Jesse, and Marshall Teague, Daniel McKinney, Andrew Novenson, Robbie Sweet, and author David McCullough. Besides presidential biographies, his favorite books are The Island of the World by Michael O’Brien, The Death of Ivan Ilyich by Leo Tolstoy, All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot, and Shattered Dreams by Larry Crabb. Aaron loves to run, read, and play the guitar. For him, the best part of working at LMPC is serving alongside the pastors, who are his heroes and the ones he has learned the most from in regards to his walk with Jesus. To have their wisdom, example, and encouragement carrying him along as he serves is invaluable.
